Central Stores is dealing with the distribution of all kinds of Indigenous Goods and inventory management as per GFR 2017 rules. Operations of Department of Central Stores are controlled by FIC of Central Stores. The Central Stores provides the stationery items, housekeeping and sanitation items, various furniture and all the hospital essential materials like general /surgical & Diagnostic consumables, medical & surgical instruments etc. and other type of goods/items to various departments of AIIMS Kalyani as per their demand. Goods are procured by a Central Procurement procedure by the Central Stores from domestic suppliers through GeM and bidding process. The Central Stores has created the Goods inspection Committee to ensure the quality of the goods received at the Central Stores. Central stores is responsible for purchasing and maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies used by the facilities management in the daily maintenance and repair of Institutional facilities. It also stocks and maintains an inventory of items / Goods. Central stores also functions as a receiving and distribution point for the entire AIIMS Kalyani campus. The annual physical verification and periodical verification of goods will be done regularly as per the competent authority order.
